Like any community, RCNuke has certain standards. When members join our forums, they agree to abide by these rules. To remain a part of the RCNuke community, members must be considerate of others. Repeated violations of these guidelines set forth below may result in a member being put on moderated status or, if the violations are extreme then access may be temporarily or permanently restricted to our forums.

  • Although discussion forums encourage a wide range of opinions, please keep your posts focused on the topic of the thread and related to the forum you are submitting your message.
  • RCNuke's chosen language is English.
  • All other languages are subject to removal.
  • Each forum has a different topic, so what is appropriate in one forum or thread may not be appropriate in another. is focused on R/C. Accordingly, topics must remain R/C related.
  • We do not permit political, social, religious, or other off-topic discussions.
  • There are many places online to express your opinions on issues outside of RC so "RC" Nuke is designed to be a place to talk just about RC.

  • The use of inappropriate, offensive language or language substitutions are not permitted on
  • Inappropriate or offensive language includes, but is not limited to, any language or content that is sexually oriented, sexually suggestive or abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, profane, hateful, or that contains racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable material of any kind.

  • RCNuke is a place that is friendly to members of all ages and that parents know is safe for kids.
  • We will not allow linking, mention or reference to any website or organization that contains any of the aforementioned objectionable content. Any posts or links made to websites containing such will be removed and a warning given.

  • RCNuke members are not permitted to harass or "flame" other members.
  • Please do not post or transmit any unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, profane, hateful, racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable material of any kind, including, but not limited to, any material which encourages conduct that would constitute a criminal offense, violate the rights of others, or otherwise violate any applicable local, state, national or international law.
  • Please note that this also includes the posting of taunts on a forum solely for the purpose of demeaning that forum's topic and/or members.

  • This is a forum of ideas and discussions.
  • We do not wish to have the readers of the forums overwhelmed with advertisements but realize that posting announcements or interesting new product information is information our members want. To balance this need for information and the need to prevent spamming of ads in our forums, we will allow the following to be posted:

  • Only one username or account is necessary at RCNuke, all others will be removed.
  • If you create a second username to act as a shill or in attempt to bypass a management ban, you will be at risk of permanent removal from RCNuke.
  • A shill is defined by but not limited to the act of promoting products for vendors, products or the like, and the act of hiding behind anonymity to abuse normal membership policies and etiquette.
  • If you are a manufacturer, vendor, sponsored representative, retailer or the like for an r/c related company or product you must specifically identify yourself and the particular affiliation in your signature.
  • Any member affiliated with a company not identifying themselves as such is at risk of revocation from RCNuke. This is identified, but not limited to a member who gains anything financially whether in cash, product, discount or the like.
  • Web addresses may not be used as usernames.

  • Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly in one or multiple forums, is prohibited.
  • Spamming also can include the repeating posting in many different forums and threads of information and links that may or may not apply to RCNuke and it's daily business Spamming will also be defined as posting advertisements in the general discussion forums for products for sale in the swap shop.

  • All selling takes place in the RCNuke Marketplace which provides for Post to non-commercial members for classifieds OR auctions.
  • Please use only the Marketplace to do your buying, selling and trading.
  • No auction or for sale posts in the forums please.
  • No asking for bids or words that would lead the buyer to assume you are having an auction or classified ad.
  • No discussion forum threads or posts linking to any classified or auction ads unless the information answers a question being discussed or questions the value or condition of the product and it is not yours or an acquaintance's.
  • If you have an item for sale or auction elsewhere and are bound by their contract to fulfill the terms, please do not post the same item for sale at RCNuke.
  • The want ad should only request what you are looking for and we expect users to respond with replies that they either have the item or where the member might find it or get it.
  • The poster should expect to pay cash (not trade) for the item expected unless those who reply offer it to the member for free, which is also acceptable.

  • Forum members are allowed to embed images in their messages by linking to an image that exists on another site or downloading it from their computer's hard-drive. In addition to the copyright restrictions mentioned above, users should also refrain from embedding any images of a sexual or offensive nature.
  • Any links to clearly offensive or pornographic materials will be removed immediately at the moderator's discretion.

  • Our policy on linking to other websites is pretty simple.
  • Members may link to any other site that provides information that helps answer another member's question or is just of specific interest to members of that particular forum.
  • One of the most basic tenets of the Web is the open exchange of information, and the RCNuke forum managers wholeheartedly support this type of exchange.
  • Members may NOT link to sites which require registration or membership to view the content, including offsite chat room discussions.
  • The only other type of linking (besides porn and spam as mentioned previously above in our rules, of course) that will not be allowed on our site is when members solicit people to leave our site to a competing service.
  • That's just common sense. We won't allow people to use our site to promote a competing service any more than a brick-and-mortar store would allow his competitor to paste flyer's all over his walls.
  • However, people are always welcome to link to any non competing online resource in order to share useful information with fellow members.

  • Avatars, signatures and user titles are available to present your favorite r/c item or saying to the public in every post you make.
  • No political, social, religious, or other similar off topic will be allowed.
  • You may not provide any information to a commercial website unless you are an RCNuke Banner Advertiser. As an RCNuke advertiser the information allowed is limited to company name, logo, insignia or website URL.
  • No other promotional or advertising material is allowed except the information that is required by the disclosure statement.
  • Personal and r/c club links in the signature are acceptable as long as the website is not commercial or in any form of competition with RCNuke.
  • Any signature or avatar offensive or pornographic in materials will be removed immediately at management's discretion.
  • You may alter your User Title after 10 days and 10 posts.
  • Under no circumstances may you impersonate a moderator or senior staff of RCNuke.
  • These titles are earned and appointed only by RCNuke Administrator's.

  • RCNuke reserves the right at its sole discretion to restrict, suspend, or terminate your access to any part of these forums.
  • If you violate any of the rules stated in this document or any other service terms documents, a moderator will remove the offending message.
  • It is your responsibility to maintain a current, valid email address in the registration information so that RCNuke management can contact you in the event of a policy violation.
  • Any member who consistently and purposefully violates our policies will at the administrator's discretion, be denied access to these forums for a period of 1 to 30 days depending on the nature of the violation.
  • Any member who refuses to comply with the policies of these forums will be banned permanently.

  • Members of RCNuke are solely responsible for all content posted under their account.
  • It is each member's obligation and responsibility to log off at the end of their session to prevent unauthorized use of RCNuke and account access.
  • There is no expectation of privacy as it relates to the content a member submits and is normally available to the public.
  • RCNuke also reserves the right to keep all member submitted content archived and available.
  • RCNuke shall have the right, but not the obligation, to correct any errors or omissions in any content, as it may determine in its sole discretion.
  • RCNuke further reserves the right to delete or remove any user content from the site and to deny the access of any member to all or part of this site, at any time for any reason without prior notice or liability.
  • Thread titles must reflect the full content and be fair to any person or vendor where things have been resolved. Please update the thread title by either adding the word RESOLVED to the title or re-wording the title to better reflect the situation.

  • While the topics may vary all RCNuke forum etiquette rules apply to private messaging.
  • All rules that are broken via private messaging will be dealt with in the same fashion as if they were posted on the forum itself.
